Sheets in Atomic Designer V5 contain a collection of components.
Sheets may also contain (sub)sheets. In this way a hierarchy can be made.
In this section we will create a sheet.
Template sheet
A template sheet may be dragged from the bottom on the (main)sheet. See example at the right.
Adding interfaces
Next we want to add interfaces to the sheet. This done in the same way as with any type of component.
Put the cursor above the sheet and use the context menu (right mouse click). Select Edit.
We will see an edit screen with on top Left and Right buttons. Use these to add not yet assigned interfaces. Enter the name of the interfaces inside the component.
Now drag the desired interfaces to the sheet.
Press Save and Back buttons on the top.
By doing this, you exit edit mode and return to the project view
Inside the sheet
Let us see what happens if we double click on the sheet.
Two orange labels appear with the same names as the interfaces on top of the sheet.
In this case we see an input label with name Input and an output label with name Output. These labesl can be connected to components added on the sheet.
The labels can be dragged to the middle of the screen. The picture on the right shows a connection to a component in the middle of the sheet.
